Corazza latex: much more than insoles...

20/12/2011

Thermoformable material, leather, cork, latex. These are the materials used by Corazza srl for the production of its orthopaedic insoles range. What distinguishes latex from any other material is its “memory”, that is the ability to return to its original shape.

However latex is not used for the production of insoles only. Latex foam is also used in surgery.

Violetta Corazza comes from a family of entrepreneurs who have dealt with the production of orthopaedic insoles for two generations. She’s the owner of the family business which has produced latex foam since 1980. She has told us that this distinctive memory is even more evident in Corazza latex.
“It is a high quality material. We give a two years guarantee, even though we have verified the effectiveness of our material even many years after production. In comparison with other types of latex available on the market, Corazza formula provides excellent resistance to bending and don not crack or deform when moulded.
The quality of this product is also proved by its use in phlebology: our latex is used in the manufacture of compression bands, noticeably reducing healing time”.
